Broker Site Shortlist Builder

MWarketplace is a marketplace for energized land, power capacity, hosting and equipment for Bitcoin mining and AI/HPC data centers. Its brokers used to assemble every client shortlist by hand in a Word document that was frozen the moment it was sent. Base Flows built a shortlist builder inside the marketplace: sites come from the live catalog, off-platform sites come with the seller's brochure, and the client gets one branded worksheet on a permanent link where they respond site by site.

Broker Site Shortlist Builder project overview

The challenge

Every MWarketplace transaction starts with a shortlist of sites for a buyer, and every shortlist was a Word document built by hand. It took the broker out of the live catalog and into copy and paste, and it was frozen once sent: removing a site, adding a better one or answering a question meant producing a new document, while the client's comments came back in separate emails.

What we built

A shortlist builder inside the marketplace. Brokers filter the live catalog by location, capacity, grid type, deal type and market status, add sites with their own notes, and attach a PDF brochure for sites that are not listed yet. Each shortlist becomes a branded worksheet on a permanent link that the client opens without logging in and answers site by site, while the broker keeps editing, reordering and adding to the same link, and can export it as a PDF.

About the project

MWarketplace is a marketplace for the infrastructure behind Bitcoin mining and AI/HPC data centers: energized land, power capacity, managed hosting and equipment, listed by capacity, energy rate, availability and deal type. Its brokers work on transactions worth millions, and every one of them starts with a shortlist. That shortlist used to be a Word document assembled by hand, one site at a time. Once it was sent it was frozen: dropping a site, adding a better one or answering a question meant building a new document and sending it again, while the client's comments arrived in separate emails. Base Flows built the Shortlist Builder inside the marketplace itself. A broker searches the live catalog, filters by location, capacity, grid type, purchase or lease, and on or off market, and adds sites to a working shortlist with a note on each one. Sites that are not listed on the platform yet can be added by hand, with the seller's brochure attached as a PDF. The result is one branded worksheet on a permanent link. The client opens it without logging in, reads each site with its capacity, price, lease rate and energy rate, opens the attached brochures, and leaves feedback on the sites themselves. The broker answers in the same thread, reorders the list, adds sites from the catalog and removes others, all on the link that was already shared. Nothing has to be sent twice. A history view keeps every shortlist by client and status, and any shortlist can be exported as a PDF. The app runs on Softr and Airtable, with the builder, the worksheet and the broker view written as Vibe Coding blocks in React. The marketplace catalog stays the single source: shortlists read from it, and editing a shortlist never touches the listings behind it. "Communication has been consistent and specific. Work has been done on time and within budget. Would recommend Base Flows." Edward Weniger, CEO, MWarketplace

Member Training Portal

The ALM Member Portal replaces a WordPress and LearnDash course area with one library: 365 training videos and 385 documents, every document next to its video, and progress read from the player itself. Members land on a dashboard, access belongs to the team, and the ALM team publishes and gates content without a developer.
