To give customers the customization and service they expected, ACR needed its own internal system, but no existing software or automation tool fit the way a broker operates.

ACR Dumpsters is a nationwide waste broker founded by Jonathan Katz. Customers order roll-off dumpsters and recurring service from ACR, and a network of local haulers does the work on the ground. To give customers the customization and service they expected, ACR needed its own internal system, but no existing software or automation tool fit the way a broker operates. Base Flows built that system on Airtable and Softr. Airtable is the system of record for orders, customers, haulers, pricing and invoices. On top of it, every customer account gets its own portal to order a delivery, pickup or swap through Fillout forms, track active job sites and permanent containers, and see invoices, aging and balance in one place. The platform is modeled on how a broker actually works. Prices come from the county and the customer's pricing tier, with custom pricing per account. A hauler network keeps each hauler's pricing by county, contacts and compliance documents on file. Every order carries the request, the price, the hauler, the weight slip and the invoice from start to finish, so nothing gets rebuilt in a spreadsheet along the way. Behind the portal, ACR's team runs an operations hub on Airtable Interfaces: a dispatch queue with hauler confirmations, continued service and auto pickups for containers that stay on site, weight slip reconciliation, invoice management, A/R aging and executive insights. Payments run on Stripe, with payment links, cards on file, account credit and refunds. Zapier runs the automated processes across the portal, the records and the payments, and n8n handles scheduled jobs such as permanent container counts. Base Flows also plugged into ACR's Slack to handle urgent fixes when clients needed them, and taught Jonathan to manage and improve the system himself.
